The Artist

Hello! I’m Nabha M. Okkund, an illustrator from Dharwad, Karnataka. Art has always been my way of expressing the world around me, I was inspired by the stories that every corner seemed to tell. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts at the College of Fine Arts in Bengaluru, where I explored various mediums and refined my skills.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of designing over 20 cover pages for Kannada books and magazines, working with esteemed writers like Ramjan Darga, H S Shrimathi,  Nayanataara Sehagal, Uma Chakravarthy, and others. Each project has been a rewarding challenge, allowing me to convey the essence of the content through my art.

As I look forward, I’m excited to continue my journey with Masari Ink, a creative venture I’ve co-founded, and to explore new artistic horizons. Art, for me, is about more than just creating—it’s about connecting with people and telling stories that resonate.
